Between traveling for work and for fun, I take photos of EVERYTHING along the way. In addition to my Canon 7D MkII, my iPhone makes it that much easier to take a massive amount of photos and videos, so editing is my least favorite activity. I simply make it too hard on myself with the thousands, like a hundred thousand photos, sitting in my photo archive that just overwhelms me. This is my way of forcing myself to tackle my archive and do something with it. Don't worry there is only a very small fraction of them here. 🙂

This dinosaur looking stork-like bird is a Shoebill. They live in tropical east Africa in large swamps from Sudan to Zambia. This was from one of my favorite trips. I remember this moment as if it were yesterday, yes this moment. 🤔 Crazy how this was almost exactly 11 years ago today. 😳 So I saw this at the Zurich Zoo, regarded as one of the best in Europe. I remember walking by, and this thing caught my attention. I thought it was the craziest looking thing I ever saw, and therefore wasn’t real or alive. Then it blinked and I was like...😯😎 . . . Sheep outnumber people in Scotland. Here you can see it’s lambing season, and my goodness there were plenty of lambs to distract us.
